World Senior Curling Championships 2003

Canada men win the second World Senior's

Canada skipped by Tom Reed of Edmonton, Alberta today became World Senior Champions after defeating USA skipped by Scott Baird in the final with 9-3. Reed is joined by his teammates Warren Kushnir, Larry Gardeski, Garry Landry and Fred McKenzie.

Canadian ladies retains the title

Nancy Kerr of Canada and her teammates Linda Burnham, Kenda Richards and Gertie Pick won the World Senior's Women's title when they defeated Scotland 7-4 in the final. They retained the title won by Canada last year and Nancy Kerr becomes the first player to win both the World's (1980) and the World Seniors.

England won the first ever World Championship medal for their nation when they defeated Japan 8-1 in the bronze game.
