Just to clarify, round robin play in World Championships held outside of Canada has never been broadcast into Canada with one exception—the 2002 World Championships held in Bismarck, North Dakota.  On that occasion, TSN chose to broadcast the event at no incremental cost to the World Curling Federation or the Canadian Curling Association.

The 2006 World Men’s Curling Championship will be broadcast to Canada on CBC (nationwide) on April 8 and 9.  In addition, CurlTV is webcasting the round robin draws and ESPN2 will broadcast a wrap-up show on April 16.  Eurosport is also providing coverage to Europe.
