Ford World Curling Championships 2002

Men's tournament, Draw 1

Scotland without Hammy?

It works very well, thank you. With an excellent last stone (see picture) Warwick Smith was able to produce a deuce to win against Switzerland with 7-6. The Scots did a very good game with a team score of 77% and if they continue this way, they may surprise one or two people.

Austria with 150 curlers against Canada with over a million can only end one way? Yes of course, but it took Canada all the way through 10 ends to defeat Austria 9-7.

Denmark won against Norway 9-5, Finland vs Sweden 6-4 and USA vs Japan 8-5.
